Flounder fishing is picking up with the warmer temperatures

Nick just sent over this shot of a 26 inches he got first thing this morning. With the bright sunshine the temperatures have been warming up and the fish have been biting better..

First Nice shark of the year

The first Nice shark of the year just hit the scales... Tod E and Jon N landed this 103.5 pounder (with the guts out).  They are around get out there and go get them.

Tournament results

Despite the tough conditions we had a great turnout for the opening weekend flounder tournament with over $2500 paid out. First place was taken by Nicole with a 5.9 pounder 2nd place Paul 5.7 and 3rd Jake with a 4.8. Three heaviest Calcutta went to Paul with a combined weight of 11.7 pounds Weak fish went to BJ with an 8.3 pounder and blue fish went to Michael with 14.5 lb. thank you to everyone who participated we look forward to seeing you next year as this tournament continues to grow and become more fun and larger every year
