good Looking Weekend

The forecast for this weekend looks great.  The fishing reports from this week have been a little slow but the weather has been a big factor the seas where rough for most of the week and made it very difficult for any one to get out front.  There where a couple of fish taken on the beach on clam and bunker.  The reports from the north say there are plenty of fish to be had still and it looks like we have plenty of good fishing still to come.  We will have fresh bunker, fresh clams, eels, spot and green crabs all in stock for the week end.

Hunting season !!

With hunting season apon us I just wanted to remind every one we are now a NJ Fish and wildlife License Agent.  You can now get your licenses and permits write hear is SIC.  We also have a small hunting section of scents baits and some other last minuet things.  Special orders are available for cross bows, bolts, Brodhead’s, targets and more.

Not a bad Thanksgiving morning.

Not a bad Thanksgiving morning.  We had several stripers come thru the door to get wade in.  These fish where taken in the surf but I have talked to people just off the beach in the boats and have gotten some very good reports of the bass and blues out there and a good got bite and the T.I. reef

Another good day in the surf..

Yesterday was another good day in the surf.  The reports were spread out up and down the beach of sporadic bird plays with stripers and blues mixed together.  But there was plenty of fish taken when there was NO visual action on the water.

Don’t forget we will be open till 7pm Wednesday and 5am to 12pm Thanksgiving.  The Starfish party boat here in SIC will be leaving on a special Thanksgiving day tog trip 6am-1pm.

Surf side stripers.

The conditions in the ocean where rough yester day but they still ended up catching plenty of blues with stripers mixed in.  But the surf is really starting to pick up.  The fish in the pic above where 20 Lb and 26.6 Lb they also had throw backs.  Taken of fresh clams.

Stripers in FULL force !!!!!

Wow yesterday was a great day to be fishing.   We did’nt weigh in many fish from the surf, just a couple of stripers and blues.  The people that were out in the ocean did very well, it was a little rough but not unfishable.  We had reports from the inlet and out. The majority of the stripers were taken around the Sea Isle Lump but heard of blues as far out as 10 miles and further.  The Starfish party boat here in Sea Isle City was fishing the off shore wrecks and had a GREAT day with Sea Bass, cod and a couple tog.  There was even a couple of slammer blues taken out there.
