Big threshers in Sea Isle City

Joe, Kelly, Frank, Mike and Tom Landed this BIG!!! Thresher shark last Sunday.  It was 90 inches from the tip of the nose to the fork in the tail.  We did not get a wait on it but the estimations are around 450 pounds.  After landing the shark they reliced 4 live babies from the shark all swam away healthy.

Hi every one sorry for the lack of reports the computer crashed over a week ago I have several pictures to show you so they are going to come fast and furious over the next couple of days…  This is Jay with a 4 pound 14 ounce weaky taken up in Corsons inlet..  still plenty of weak fish around taking soft plastics, Gulp! and bait..

Bacy Bay Flounder

Tony C.  from Warminster PA. was just in with his brother they had 9 keepers this morning.  The heaviest where 5 pounds 11 ounces and 5 pounds 3 ounces.  He said it was some of the best fishing he has seen in a long time.  The flounder bite has really been heating up get out there be for they move into the ocean.

This picture is from the middle of the week its my buddy Chris H fishing with another buddy Dr. Tom.  They where fishing be hind Somers point and had a great after noon.  They worked hard for them but ended up with a limit of real nice flounder.  Crazy chartreuse Spro buck tails and a variety of GULD! Baits where the ticket.  Mostly chartreuse 3 inch swimming mullet.

Big Thresher Shark In Sea Ise City...

The crew of the Soft Shell Don McMichael, Sean McMichael, Billy Blystone and Matt Buono just stopped in to show of there catch from this morning of a BIG thresher it was 73 inches from the tip of the nose to the fork in the tail.  Unfortunately we do not have an exact wait of the shark the scale at the store goes to 220 pounds and it bottomed out before we got the shark off the ground. I guess its time to get a bigger scale.  They where sharking about 30 miles out of Sea Isle City but I have had reports of nice sharks in closer.  Shark fishing is in full swing if you have not been out yet what are you whiting for.  Chum and mackerel have been flying out the door and as I have said be for it is best to call if you need a lot so we can special order it for you we can only carry so much.

BIG weakfish Trolling behind Sea Isle

Mike Gana AKA “ the Googen” decided top do a little trolling yesterday evening using bucktails with 6 inch GULP! Grubs  and out of know where this huge tide runner hit..   It was 32 inches and according the boga grip it was 10 pounds 2 ounces.   Catching stripers wile trolling the back is fun catching weakfish over 10 pounds wile trolling is absolute exhilarating.  The weakfish are still biting great mostly on soft plastics, Fly’s, mirrolure’s and some on shedder crabs.  I keep hearing how good the weakfishing is Up north well its been dam good down in Sea Isle…
