Fresh surf clams

Just got a fresh shipment of live in the shell surf clams in.  The weather do day in nearly Perfect and tomorrow looks even better with highs in the low 50’s and SW winds 10-15.  On top of the clams we have live green crabs ( if you want ½ bushel of more you must call first) and all the frozen stuff squid, clams, scallop bellies, mackerel, bunker you get the point.

Party Boat Tog Fishing Sea Isle CIty

I hope every one had a very Merry Christmas.  I have not reported much because there has not been much to report.  The best thing going lately is the Tog fishing.  Several private boats where out reporting some nice catches.  Also the Star Fish Party Boat hear in Sea Isle CIty is running every day its fit and with the nice weather this weekend they plan on going every day.  Be shore to call the boat the day before you plan to go to see if they are going the following day  (609) 263-3800 

Nice warm up for the weekend...

Looks like we have a nice warm up coming this weekend..  YAA…  Maybe some light showers or fog but nothing we can’t handle.  Just got in a shipment of live clams in the shell getting ready to pack them in ice now so if you want to hit the beach we got the bait. 

Nice morning in Sea Isle City

It’s a nice morning down hear in Sea Isle City.  The weather man is calling for NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt... diminishing to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft...mainly in a se swell with a dominant period of 10 seconds.  Tomorrow SW winds 15 to 20 kt...becoming W 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft...mainly in a S swell with a dominant period of 8 seconds. A chance of rain early in the morning.  Its getting late so if there is something you need from the store try to get in as soon as possible or contact us so we can get it sent out.  We are mailing out Gift cards and other things almost daily. 

Today

Se winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt...becoming E 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt late. Seas around 1 foot...building to 2 to 4 ft late this morning and afternoon. Mainly in E swell with a dominant period of 5 seconds. A chance of rain late this morning. Rain this afternoon.....  Not to bad to day but Sunday isn't looking to good...

Cold morning in Sea Isle

This is what I sall fishing in the bay behind Sea Isle this morning J   The last report I got was from Sunday morning there where fish biting just south of Townsends Inlet wile trolling mostly small fish.  We still have live spot, live eels, live green crabs, live clams and all the frozen stuff you want.  We are mailing out gift certificates and other items for customers every day so if you cant get hear and want something for Christmas just let us know.  If you miss me on the phone or we are closed for weather the best way to get me is email  seaislebaitandtackle@gmail.com

December Stripers in Sea Isle City

 

The crew over on (Good Times) went out and Got’er Dun agene.  They got a very late start like Dusk late but they barley made it out of the inlet and they where on fish.  Made it from the mouth of the inlet out to about 2.5 miles and had there limit with some nice big fish mixed in and where back at the dock in no time.  This time of year we haft to pick the days wisely and yesterday after noon was the time to go.  We are hear all the time WEATHER PERMITING.
