More flounder in the bay

Lindsey P and her Dad where on fire with a 4.8,  4.6 and another keeper.  The back bay has produced some very nice keepers over the last week and this weekend looks good so you better get out and get’um… 

Flounder Se Isle City

Jim L had a great day on the water with this very nice 4.4 pound 23 ½ incher from the bay.  He had another keeper and lost one at the side of the boat he believed to be even bigger.  There are still plenty of keepers in the bay.  Jim also reported having nearly ¾ of a bushel of big blue claw crabs..

Tog Black Fish in Sea Isle City

To day is Opening day for Tautog / Tog / Black fish.  You are currently allowed one (1) Fish at 15 inches.  I’m getting reports of these feisty fish from several places including but not limited to the 8^th street jetty in Avalon the Avalon side of the TI bridge and around the jetties in SIC.  If you have never targeted Tog they are a blast possibly my favorite fish to fish for.  They are biting both salted clams and green crabs both of witch are in stock.  Get out and have some funn and good eating to. 

Back Bay Flounder Sea Isle City

Hear is proof there are still some big fish in the back bay.  Jim W from Williams Town was just in to get this nice flounder weighed in.  It tipped the scales at 6.8 pounds VERY nice fish.  He said they had a couple other keepers and a bunch of throw back also.  Now that the crappy weather has moved out for now we are getting some more good reports from the bay.  

New products

We have 3 new companies whose products should be on the shelves buy this weekend.  The first of witch is Deep ocean appeal we will be carrying long sleeve and short sleeve T-shirts for both men and women,  board/fishing shorts, hats and visors from this supper cool up incoming company.  We are also bringing in a line of aluminum sand spikes that are in several colors including Green, blue, pink and orange.  last but not least if you are an wreck / grapple anchor person you are going to want to check out the new anchor we are carrying they are 100% aluminum they come coated and uncoated  and with a 2 year warranty.

Eric Czapka, from Holland, PA.  Was fishing the back bay on his kayak this weekend when he landed this very nice flounder it was 23 inches and ate a Gulp! on a buck tail.  The fish was let go immediately after the pic was taken to live another day so now weight is available.  There are lots of little flounder in the bay but there are still some very nice fish up to 6 pounds so get out there and have some fun.
