Hot striper action off Sea Isle City

Reports are really starting to come in now from the people fishing in the ocean.  Looks like the striper’s where really biting mostly trolling stretch 25’s and umbrella rigs. But also herd of some Jigging.  Capt. Joe Hughes who runs Jersey Cape Guide Service out of the store reported over 10 stripers with some blues mixed in.  Capt. Fresh Bunker Sea Isle City

Duane just stopped by to show off is catch of the day.  A Nice 36in 14.9Lb striper.  Duane landed this nice fish up in Strathmere on fresh clam.  I have been getting calls all day from the surf of stripers being caught both on fresh clam and fresh bunker. 

Holiday schedule.

  I will be in the store at 6Am thanksgiving morning staying till around Noon.  I will be doing dinner in S.I.C.  So if you need something later in the day just let me know before 12 and I can leave it out for you or just run over and see you hear.  Black Friday we will be in at 5am till 7pm then 5-7 Saturday and 5-5 Sunday.  This thanksgiving Becky Finn and I are very thankful for the wonderful family, friends and customers we have.  We hope you all have a great turkey day and try to fit in some fishing..
