Thank a vet to day

We at Sea Isle Bait and Tackle would like to thank all the vets that have protected all we have and solute those that gave it all.  I especially want to thank my grand father who is a vet of two wars and two branches of the military, serving in the Marines in the south pacific in WWII and in the Army during Korea. 

First flounder of the summer

Check out Katie from Sea Isle City / Ossining NY with her first flounder of the summer.  23 ½ inches 3.9Lb..  Taken on a minnow and a rig with green hair.  Good job Katie keep up the good work.

Striper fishing continues to be GOOD

Striper fishing continues to be GOOD.  Bob of Uppershishester PA landed this nice 41.5in 21.1 lb’r  in T.I. on a mullet.  Most of the fish have been taken on clam salted and fresh.  The wether looks great this weekend for the holiday and the flounder, stripers, blues and sea bass are all biting well so get out and do a little fishing.

Nice striper wile at the dock

Fast Eddy got this nice striper wile at the dock in the intercostals water way working on the boat.  The striper reports have been over the top.  With fish taken in Corson’s inlet, Townsends inlet, the surf and the back bay.  Most of the fish have been taken on clam both salted and fresh.  Looks like the weather will be good this weekend and the stripers blue fish and flounder are biting..  So come on down

She’sss Baaack !!!!!!!!!!!

She’sss   Baaack   !!!!!!!!!!!  That’s write the Starfish is back from her yearly maintenance and is ready to do some fishing…  Sea bass  season starts this Saturday 6/19/2012.  The early season reports have all been very good and looking like this should be a stellar year.

Another great weekend for Flounder fishing

Another great weekend for Flounder fishing.  The little girl Jenna got her 27in 7lb 5oz flat fish wile fishing with Cap. Joe Hughes.  The two gentlemen Joe O and Mike B where only one fish from there limit with the biggest being 6lb 1oz.  All the good reports this week end all had a common thread FISH SHALOW.  The best bites where from 6Ft to 2.5Ft.  As for Bait minnows and Glup!  where the ticket.
